It no longer surprises me how quick the years go by. Just a few years back ("few" depends on how long you've been around!), I was sitting somewhere on one of those mammoth rocks of Nabbinonya, gazing at the ebbs hit the rock base. I was wondering how painful it would be if my head crushed into it just like they were, but I was also wondering how the place would look like about 2 decades down the road.

Am not by the lake right now, but am recalling that moment and saying to myself, "things have really changed!". Yes, they ought to change, otherwise life would be a boring static show! People have to die, prices have to change, trees get cut, and kids have to be made! Now, that last one is the real issue here - kids have to be made!

Not many of you want to ponder these things, but you'll agree that these issues do hit one of the many every once in a while (if not daily). Are you ready to have a baby? A friend once told me that the best way to ask such a question is "Do you want to have sex?". He argued that "sex" was potentially the "making of a baby", and just how many of us are ready to do just that?

We've done it before, had live dishes served, but most times I've realized just how sweet the experience is and how DANGEROUS it also is! Am glad that 99% of the time it's been the same old plate that I was eating out of (hey, this isn't security anymore, or so they say!).

I remember those days when I could still read the bible (I still read it, but only as a reference to enlighten all you blind xtians and turn you over to the left path), and one lyric said "...do not tempt your god."(?) How often you and me do it, none wants to know. But you know it; we are humans, or we aren't?

Is this how they come?

Most gals will testify to you that the one reason they hate dishing it out is guys who will say things like "not me", "is it mine?", "i can't do that!",... when the news is presented to them - "am pregnant!". Some cool dudes (and others who just are sober enough to accept their age) will openly embrace such news as "eureka moment" in their lives, they will applaud and even call a few friends back at the "Malos" joint!

Some say they are too young, others say they hate responsibility, still others say that parenting is boring (Yours definitely hated raising you!). I personally would hate raising a John The Baptist and the like (heard of JC?) - that kind are the type that keep saying in their minds "you never did it, my father up there did it!", and you keep on wondering how the hell a dude could have shafted that kid of yours into the world while you lay asleep!

Tonight, I will walk to my lady and ask her if she's ready to have a baby! Am not joking. And if she says yes, I'll sit at my terminal, open vim, jot a small c++ y/n randomizer, compile it, run it, and then will decide whether to face the wall or not. Is it silly? Wait the day you'll have to decide.

A demon in my head tells me "making a baby shouldn't be planned. In fact it should be a chaotic disaster! That's the only way you can end up with super kids, those wonder kids that make the nurse want to switch babies when you aren't at the launchpad on the Day". I don't know what to tell "him", but well, I'll still go ahead and attempt to make history!
